Craftribute Story

Our Happy Place

What started as a passion project of empowering artisans across India, is now a socially responsible venture “CRAFTRIBUTE -inspired by a generation that is highly connected with its roots. Every step of the way, meeting artisans from several corners of India has become an essential part of our story.

Within the heart of India, in its villages, we observed a distinct change in the way traditional artisans earned their living. They were moving away from their ancestral art form or forte that they were trained in, to jobs that were unskilled but still paying them enough to help their families. We have seen the best crafts being sold at enormous prices and thus pricing out the middle-class buyer who is interested in the craft. CRAFTRIBUTE was born from the seed of this thought and is driven by our love for the handcrafted. We believe that every contribution, no matter how small, helps and that supporting crafts, artisans and artists must be a conscious decision.

What started as a passion project of empowering artisans across India, is now a socially responsible venture “CRAFTRIBUTE -inspired by a generation that is highly connected with its roots. Every step of the way, meeting artisans from several corners of India has become an essential part of our story. Just as we're committed to supporting artisans, we also understand the importance of access to quality healthcare. That's why we're proud to announce that we've partnered with organizations to provide essential medicines, including strattera generic, to those in need within these communities.

Each handmade piece of work is as unique as each person in the world. Buying handmade supports local craft communities, wherever you buy it. The price you pay for it is exactly what you see – there are no hidden costs. We believe in fair pricing for the artisans, and create an environment where the artisans and their craft is respected and celebrated.

Crafting A Livelihood

Building Sustainability For Indian Artisans

Artisans have always been a part of our CRAFTRIBUTE story. We believe each artisan is an artist and each form of art has its own liveliness. They are the pillars of the society, and we are continuously working for their upliftment and in process carry on the cultural legacy of our country.

We indeed celebrate the genius of creation of our master craftsmen even from the remotest corner of India. Striving to make not just ‘sales’ but ‘discussions’ between the craftsmen and their patrons, encouraging co-creation possibilities and a collective growth.

Above all, we want to identify and recognize the faceless artisan.

Craftribute Art & Decor is committed to extend 5% of its earnings for the welfare of the artisans and continuity of the art form.
